Emma Myhre has a boundless fascination with Okoboji's history, which she gets from her family. Her great-grandma met her great-grandpa working at the Benit Amusement Park souvenir shop. Both of her grandmas collect decades of postcards, articles, books, and photos from The Iowa Great Lakes, which she proudly shares with The Okoboji Project. Now, Emma splits her time between her native Okoboji and Princeton, NJ, as a writer and audio producer.

Emma hopes The Okoboji Project will be a place where listeners can expand their love and knowledge of the area and honor the people who make The Iowa Great Lakes extraordinary.
